1929年10月24日にニューヨーク証券取引所で株価が大暴落。世界恐慌のはじまりでした。The Sunny Side of the Street（邦題「明るい表通りで」）はその翌年1930年に書かれ、今ではジャズのスタンダードになっています。

…と、時流に合わせて、よりむしろ、週刊俳句は、道の日陰じゃなくて、明るい日向を楽しく歩いていきます、ということで。

なにしろ、Life can be complete on the sunny side of the street　なんですから。

よく知られる演奏のひとつ、トミー・ドーシー楽団とクラーク・シスターズ。

2) Jo Stafford　　火水予定

ジョー・スタッフォードの歌唱に、第二次世界大戦中のイギリスの市井風景を組み合わせたもの。政府のプロパガンダ・フィルムらしいです。

3) Disneyland Ragtime Robert　　木金予定

ディズニーランドでラグタイム・ピアノを弾いているロバートさんの演奏。日がな、いろんな曲を弾いているのでしょうか。明るい曲なのに、なぜかすこしメランコリー。

4) Andrea Axelrod and Alan Siegal　　土予定

このおばちゃんとおっちゃん、知りませんし、よくわからないのですが、とにかく押しが強い。こういうのもアリかな、と。
